In 1871, Mary Tembey (43) of Cornwall and husband John Tembey (40) of Cornwall were living in Medomsley, Durham, England. Present were widow Grace Hocking (26) of Cornwall, children (born in Cornwall): Wm. (18), James H. (14), Elizabeth J. (11), Christopher (6), and Mary S. (2) born in West Lanchester, Durham. Also present were William H. Hocking (6) of Cornwall, John Smith (29) of North Shields and William Davidson (62) of North Shields.
