" Robert Barron, 45, of Bank st east, Ascotvale, died in Royal Melbourne Hospital last night from injuries received while playing in a practice match with a tramway association team yesterday morning. He was batting, and was struck by a high bouncing ball. Later he collapsed, and died shortly after admittance to hospital." 5
