In 1861 Mark Davis, aged 17, born in Gt. Bedwin, unmarried, and his brother Solomon, were working as carters in Kintbury Berkshire.

In 1871 Mark Davis, aged 27, born in Bedwyn Wilts, labourer, and wife Harriet, aged 28, born in Andover Hants., were living at 15 Endell? St., St. Giles in the Fields, London. Present were children: Daniell (3) of Lambeth Surrey, Mary A. (1) of Lambeth Surrey, and Alfred (4 mo) of St. Giles Middlesex.

In 1881 Mark Davis, aged 40 [sic], born in Great Bedwyn Wilts, widower, brewer's servant, was living at 59 Mildmay St., Islington London. Present were children: Daniell (14) of Lambeth Surrey, Mary A. (12) of Lambeth, and Alfred (10) of St. Giles Middx.

In 1891 Mark Davis, aged 49, born in Bedwyn Wilts, brewer's cellar foreman, and [2nd] wife Fanny, aged 56, born in Greenham Berks, were living at 188 Balls Pond Rd., Highbury London. Present were stepdaughters Louisa and Emily Perry both of Islington London, son Alfred Davis (20) of Pancras London, brewer's bottler

In 1901 Mark Davis, aged 61 [sic], born in Gt. Bedwyn, brewer's foreman, and wife Fany, aged 66, born in Greenham Common Berks, were living 79 St. James Rd., Islington London. Present was [Fanny's] granddaughter Amelia Perry (8) of Islington London. Son Alfred and his family were at the same address.

In 1911 Mark Davis, aged 68, born in Gr. Bedwyn Wilts, retired brewer's foreman, and [3rd] wife Eliza Sarah, aged 56, born in Layer Marney Essex (no children), were living at 79 Jubilee St., Gt. Bedwyn Wiltshire.
