In 1851 Job Davis, aged 12, born in Gt. Bedwin, and his brother Solomon, were working as ag labs for Alfred Pike, farmer, in Shalbourne Wilts.

In 1861 Job Davis, aged 23, born in Great Bedwyn, ag. lab., was with his parents at 25 Brook St., Great Bedwyn.

In 1871 Job Daviss, aged 33, born in Great Bedwin Wilts, laborer in gas works, and wife Jane, aged 28, born in Great Bedwin, were living in Hornsey Middlesex. Present were children: Emma (8) of Great Bedwin, scholar, Walter H. (4) of Colney Hatch Middx, Ann (3) of Hornsey Middx
