Orderic Vitalis records that Robert de Grantmesnil, son of “Hugo de Grentemaisnilio” and his wife, married thirdly “Luciam Savarici filii Cani filiam”. Given the likely chronology of Robert´s wife Agnes, it is probable that Lucy was his second rather than his first wife.
