Abstract of the Nuncupative Will of William Akehurst late of Stunts Green within the Parish of Herstmonceux in the County of Sussex, Widower, written 20 Apr 1766 by Richard Gander and Jude his Wife, proved 12 May 1766. 5

Desires that his kinsmen* William Akehurst and Joseph Akehurst should bury him and divide what he leaves equally between them.

Gives 5 shillings to his brother** if he still lives.

Desires that his kinsman William Akehurst's son John have a pair of clasps.

* Kinsmen here refers to William's nephews, William and Joseph, sons of his brother John.

** William had only one brother possibly living at this time, namely John.
