In 1871 Giles Garlick, aged 19, born in Brokenborough Wilts, was with his parents on Marsh Farm, Brokenborough.

In 1881 Giles Garlick, aged 29, born in Brokenboro Wiltshire, farmer of 412 acres employing 9 men & 4 boys, and wife Isabella S., aged 30, born in Hankerton Wiltshire, were in Stanton St. Quintin Wilts. With them were son Harry P. (1) of Stanton St. Quintin, and cousin James Garlick (15) of Wootton Bassett Wilts, formerly farmer's son.

In 1891 Giles Garlick, aged 38, born in Brokenborough Wiltshire, farmer, and wife Isabella S., aged 39, born in Hankerton Wiltshire, were in Lower Stanton, Stanton St. Quintin Wilts. With them were sons (born in Stanton St. Quintin) Harry P. (11), scholar, and Edward (9), scholar.

In June 1895 Giles Garlick and Charles Garlick, farmers, were granted Probate of their late father's personal estate.
