At the time of the 1851 Scotland Census Marion Wilson, aged 62, born in Stewarton, and husband John Wilson, aged 60, born in Stair, labourer, were living in Laigh Mossgiel, Mauchline.
At the time of the 1861 Scotland Census, Marion Wilson, aged 80, born in Stewarton, widow, was staying with her daughter Marion Hyslop and her family in Boghead, Lesmahagow, Lanark.
