Obituary
" THE LATE MR, JACK D. BLIGHT.
The late Mr. John Dunstone Blight, who passed away recently in Adelaide was the elder son of the late W. H. and M. H. Blight. He spent his boyhood in Clare, learned the baking trade with his father, and later left the town.
In 1914 he enlisted and was in Egypt bv Christmas of that year. He served with the Army Medical Corps in Egypt, Gallipoli, Lemnos, England and France, and was on the water returning on Anzac leave when the armistice was signed.
In 1920 he married Miss Lilian Rees Thomas, eldest daughter of Mr. Thomas Rees Thomas. He has been employed by the S.A. Gas. Co. in Waymouth Streets for over 20 years.
The widow, a daughter and two sons are left one of the boys served in the RAAF in Australia and England.
The late Mr. Blight has had recurring periods of ill-health as a result of illness contracted on Gallipoli, and passed away at his home on 23rd Jan., 1947.
We extend our very sincere sympathy to his sister, Miss Linda Blight, of Clare, in the loss the family has sustained." 5
