According to "Many Mini Biographies", Maud was the daughter of Reynold de Grey (d. 1370) and Maud de la Vache. However, as Douglas Richardson notes in a posting to the soc.genealogy.medieval group, the identity of Maud who married Richard de Willoughby, John Tuchet and John Daubridgecourt is far from being resolved, while indicating that the existing evidence does nonetheless point to Maud being related to the de Grey family.
