Abstract of the Will of John Richards of Magar in the Parish of Illogan in the County of Cornwall, Husbandman, written 21 Jan 1764, proved 13 May 1764. 1

Gives and devises to his daughter Constance Richards all his estate, right and interest in Reskadinneck in the parish of Camborne. Also gives to her an annuity of 40 shillings out of the rents from the premises called Gansoil in Camborne aforesaid.

Gives and devises to his daughter Elizabeth Richards his two estates in Gansoil aforesaid, subject to the payment of 40 shillings yearly to his said daughter Constance Richards.

Gives 3 guineas to Elizabeth Potter the wife of James Potter.

Gives 5 guineas to Susanna Mill, spinster.

Gives 1 guinea each to John the son of his brother Charles Richards, Mary the daughter of his brother James Richards, Elizabeth Harris and Susanna Harris spinsters, daughters of William Harris late of St. Ives, thatcher.

All the rest, residue and remainder of his goods, chattels and personal estate he gives and bequeaths to Abel Angove and Philip John both of Illogan parish, in Trust, to the use and benefit of his son John Richards, until he reaches the age of twenty-one years. He appoints the said Abel Angove and Philip John co-executors of his last will and testament, in Trust.

Directs that his Trustees apportion £15 in building a dwelling house in Gansoil aforesaid at the expense of his said son John Richards for the use of his said daughter Elizabeth Richards.
