In 1861, Jane Tosh (18) of Hayle, housekeeper, deaf, was at home with her mother and her 2nd husband on High St., Falmouth.
In 1871, Jane Tosch (25) of Hayle, tailoress, deaf, widow*, was lodging with John and Ellen Nugent in Falmouth. Present also was [son] Francis Tosch (6) of Falmouth
* Jane had not been married; her surname appears to have been changed from that of her father to that of her mother's second husband.
