In 1851 Jacob Trewartha (50) of Illogan, farmer of 60 acres employing 1 labourer, and wife Elizabeth (46) of St. Clements were living in Pencoose, Kenwyn. With them were children (born in Kenwyn): John (16), William (14), Elizabeth (13), scholar, Julia M. (10), scholar, Susan (9), scholar, Emma (7), scholar.

In 1861 Jacob Trewortha (60) of Illogan, retired farmer, and wife Elizabeth (55) of Truro were living in Frances St., Kenwyn. Present were children (born in Truro): Elizabeth A. (23), Julia M. (20), Susan J. (10), Emma S. (16), scholar.

In 1871 Jacob Trewartha (70) of Illogan, retired farmer, and wife Elizabeth (66) of St. Clements were living in Frances St. Kenwyn. Son Henry and his family were living in the same street.
