In 1891 George Bainbridge (17) of Croft, single, farm servant, was in Fen Bank, Friskney, Lincolnshire.

In 1901 George Bainbridge (28) of Croft, agricultural labourer, and wife Sarah (26) of Hough, were living in Horbling, Lincolnshire. Present were daughters (born in Horbling): Fanny (3), Emily (1), not named (3 dys), father-in-law James Nicholson (63) of Hough on the Hill, widower, driver of a steam thrashing machine, brother-in-law Simon Nicholson (33) of Bandon, driver of a steam thrashing machine.

In 1911 George Bainbridge (38) of Croft Lincs, tractor engine driver (steam thrashing), and wife of 14 years Sarah Ann (36) of Hough-on-the-Hill (mother of 6 children, 3 deceased), were living in Horbling nr Falkingham, Lincolnshire. With them were children (born in Horbling): Fanny Lizzie (13), Emily (11), George Noel (2), and three boarders including [father-in-law] James Nicholson (73) of Hough-on-the-Hill, widower, labourer on farm.

In the 1939 Register George Bainbridge (b. 26 Oct 1872), widowed, labourer on farm, was living in Church Lane, South Kesteven R.D., Lincolnshire. With him were [son-in-law] Percy Watson (b. 9 Oct 1900), bricklayer, [daughter] Fanny L. Watson (b. 26 Sep 1897), household duties, [closed record], [grandson] George G. Watson (b. 4 Feb 1927).
