In 1881 Amos Burnet (23) of Little Steeping Lincolnshire, was a student at the Wesleyan College in Richmond Surrey.

In 1901 Amos Burnet (43) of Little Steeping Lincolnshire, married, Wesleyan minister, was visiting the family of Wm. Hy. Smith, iron founder, in Whitchurch Shropshire.

On 21 Jun 1926 Amos Burnet, 68, minister, of 12 Addiscombe Ct. Rd., Croydon Surrey, and wife Esther (72), returned to England from Durban South Africa, arriving in Southampton.
