In 1881 Aaron Shaw (15) of Halton was working as a farm servant on Cork Rd., Great Steeping.

In 1891 Aaron Shaw (25) of Halton Holegate, publican, and wife Harriet (27) of North Ormsby, were living in Toynton All Saints. Present were sons Charles A. (3) of Little Steeping, William M. (8 months) of Toynton All Saints.

In 1901 Aaron Shaw (35) of Halton Holgate, butcher, and wife Harriet (37) of North Ormsby, were living on School Lane, East Keal. Present were sons Charles A. (13) of Little Steeping, William M. (10) of Toynton All Saints, George (8) of Toynton All Saints.
