"DENCE-LAURENCE.

On the evening of June 14, at St. Mark's Church, Darling Point, the wedding was celebrated of Miss Barbara Laurence, younger daughter of Dr. and Mrs. S. C. Laurence, of Mona-road, Darling Point, to Mr. Robert Cecil Dence, younger son of Mr. and Mrs. J. Dence, of Epping. The Rev. J. M. Mann, of Sutton Fcrest, performed the ceremony.

The bride was given away by her father, and wore a long gown of ivory bridal satin, with a veil of lace and tulle, forming a train. Her bouquet was of white rose, lily of the valley, and hyacinths. The bride's sister, Miss Helen Laurence, was the bridesmaid, and wore a Crock of pale blue moire, with a hat to tone. She carried a sheaf of red roses. Mr. Roy Cohen was the best man.

The reception was held at the Lawn Tennis Association's clubhouse. Rushcutter Bay, where the bride's mother received the guests, wearing a gown of black nlnon covered with a cloak of old gold embossed velvet, and a black hat. The bridegroom's mother was in blac'i satin and Spanish lace, and wore a black hat When leaving for the honeymoon the bride wore an ensemble in brown tweed, with a felt hat to tone." 7
