In March 1892 Albert Edward Baynham, clerk, and his brother Walter Lewis Baynham, gentleman, were granted Probate of their late father's personal effects.

At the time of the 1901 England Census Albert Edd. Baynham, aged 45, born in Charlton Wilts, Church of England clergyman, and wife Lilian Frances Emma Baynham, aged 41, born in Netherhampton Wilts, were living at The Cottage, West Bagborough Somerset. With them were daughters (born in St. Pancras London) Phyllis Mina (4) and Marian de Mouchet (1).

At the time of the 1911 England Census Albert Edward Baynham, aged 55, born in Charlton Wilts, clerk in holy orders, and wife of 25 years Lilian Frances Emma Baynham, aged 51, born in Netherhampton Wilts (mother of 3 children), were living in Cothelstone Vicarage, Cothelstone & Bishops Lydeard, Somerset. With them were daughters (single, born in S. Pancras London) Phyllis Mina (14), student, and Marion de Mouchet (11), student.

In December 1917 Albert Edward Baynham was present at the marriage of his daughter Phyllis Mina Baynham to Arthur Edward Coombe in Ightham Kent.

DEATH OF THE REV. A. E. BAYNHAM.

....The death took place suddenly on Thursday at his residence in Silver-street of the Rev. Albert Edward Baynham, at the age of 78. He was formerly vicar of Catherstone.

Mr. Baynham studied at St. Mary's Hall, Oxford, taking his B.A. degree in 1879, and M.A. in 1882. He was ordained deacon in 1879 and priest in 1880 in the Diocese of Sarum. He was curate of Wilton from 1879-82; rector of Langford and chaplain of Groveley Wood, Wilts, 1882-92; rector of Monkton-Farley, Wilts, 1892-98; curate of Chipping Barnet, 1898-1900; vicar of Cothelstone, 1901-11. He was licensed preacher in the Diocese of Chichester in 1914; the Diocese of Rochester 1915-19; and the Diocese of Sarum, 1919-20. He became vicar of Catherstone, Leweston, in 1920, and held the benefice until 1928. In 1888 he married Lilian Swayne, whose father was a barrister, a Wiltshire County magistrate, and Chairman of the Quarter Sessions.

Mr. Baynham was an enthusiastic gardener, and spent much of his time in that pursuit. Much sympathy is felt with the relatives in their sudden bereavement.
