Richard Evan first married about 1720 to Elizabeth . . . . . , their eldest son shown in the Trawsfynydd Parish Register having been christened in 1723, but whose given name, however, has almost completely faded (....us filius Richardi Evan de Ffridd bryn coch & Elizabethæ [uxoris ejus] baptizatus fuit 4º die Octobris 1723).
