The Will of John Lloyd of Carnarvon, Clerk, written 17 May 1814, proved 22 Feb 1815.

In the Name of God Amen. I John Lloyd of Carnarvon in the County of Carnarvon Clerk do make publish and declare this my last Will and Testament in Writing in manner following (that is to say)

I give and devise All that my Messuage Tenement and Lands with the Appurtenances thereunto belonging situate lying and being in the Parish of Llanbeblig in the said County commonly called and known by the Name of Rhyddallt now in the Occupation of Griffith Jones unto my Dear Wife Margaret (formerly Margaret Jones of Bodsau? Spinster) and her Assigns for and during the term of her natural life without Impeachment of or for any manner of Waste and from and immediately after her decease I Give and Devise the same to my own Right Heirs for ever.

And as to all the Personal Estate and Effects that shall be possessed of intitled to or interested in at the time of my decease I Give and bequeath the same to my said Wife Margaret whom I hereby appoint sole Executrix of this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking all former Wills by me made I declare this to be my Last Will and Testament. In Witness whereof I have hereunto Set my Hand and Seal this Seventeenth day of May in the Year of our Lord One Thousand eight hundred and fourteen.

Signed sealed published and declared by the said Testator John Lloyd of and for his last Will and Testament in the presence of us who at his request and in his presence and in the presence of each other have subscribed our names as Witnesses hereto.

On the 22d February 1815 the within written Will was insinuated, proved, approved and in common Form of Law decreed valid & administration granted to the within named Executrix Margaret Lloyd she being first sworn in common form of Law & that the whole of the Goods, Chattels & Credits of the said deceased to not amount in value to Four hundred Pounds.
