In 1861, Jane Griffith (28) of Llanfair Merioneth, housekeeper, was with her widowed brother-in-law* Richard Jones in Market Square, Ynyscynhaiarn, Caernarvon.

On 6 Jul 1870 Jane Griffiths of the "Maddocks Arms" in Tremadoc in the Parish of Ynyscynhaiarn in the county of Carnarvon, spinster, was granted Letters of Administration of the Personal estate and effects of Richard Jones, deceased, aunt and guardian of Edmund Jones, John Jones and Margaret Jones, minors, the children and only next of kin of the said deceased.

Griffiths (53) of Llanfair-Juxta-Harlech, retired mariner, unmarried

In 1901 Jane Williams (67) of Harlech Merioneth, widow, hotel keeper, was at the Saracen's Head Hotel in Beddgelert, Caernarvonshire.
