Will of Octavius Reginald Miller late of Mosman N.S.W., War Pensioner, written 16 Nov 1923, probate 11 Feb 1942.

THIS IS THE LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT of me OCTAVIUS REGINALD MILLER of Sydney in the State of New South Wales Photographer. I REVOKE all former wills and testamentary dispositions heretofore made by me and declare this to be my last will and testament. I DIRECT the payment of my just debts funeral and testamentary expenses. I appoint A. N. Littlejohn Esquire of O'Connell Street, Sydney, in the said State Solicitor and Robert Rose Reid of 49 College Street, Drummoyne, in the said State, Clerk, to be the Executors and Trustees of this my Will. I GIVE DEVISE AND BEQUEATH my Photographic business together with all camera instruments, pictures and accessories whatsoever used in connection therewith to my sister Angelina Alberta Reid of 49 College Street aforesaid absolutely. I GIVE DEVISE AND BEQUEATH all my land at Longueville being Lot 96 Howell Avenue, Parkwood Estate, Lane Cove to my said Executors and Trustees UPON TRUST to sell and convert the same into money and with and out of such sale and conversion to pay one half thereof to my said sister and to divide the remainder between my cousin Lennie Landers my neices Dorothy Miller and Merle Miller and my nephew Montague Martin Miller in equal shares share and share alike. I GIVE DEVISE AND BEQUEATH the whole of the rest of and residue of my real and personal property of whatsoever nature and description and wheresoever situated of which I may die possessed or to which I may hereafter become entitled to my said sister absolutely for her own separate use and benefit and I SPECIALLY DIRECT that all professional costs and charges incurred by the said A.N. Littlejohn in applying for grant of probate of this my will and the distribution of my property shall be paid to him notwithstanding the fact that he is a Solicitor and that I have appointed him to be one of my Executors and Trustees. IN WITNESS WHEREOF I have hereunto set my hand this 16th day of November in the year of our Lord, One thousand nine hundred and twenty three.

11th February, 1942. ON this date, LETTERS OF ADMINISTRATION with the will dated the 16th November 1923 of the abovenamed deceased annexed were granted to Angelina Alberta Reid the residuary beneficiary named in the said will - an executor Arthur Nelson Littlejohn (in the will called A.N. Littlejohn) having renounced probate and the other executor Robert Rose Reid having predeceased the Testator.
TESTATOR died on the 24th day of November in the year One thousand nine hundred and forty-one.
ESTATE sworn at the sum of £45/7/4d nett. 3
