In June 1808 Amelia Prior was present at the marriage of her sister Mary Prior to Richard Hayward Alexander in Lewisham St. Mary.
In 1814 Amelia was a beneficiary of her father's Will, receiving £20,000 stock in the three percent reduced or three percent consols, along with £500.
At the time of the 1851 England Census A. B. Batard, aged 60, born in Halse Somersetshire, and husband Thomas M B Batard, aged 66, born in Marylebone Middlesex, landed proprietor, were living in Ramsden Crays, Billericay, Essex. With them were son Willm. (9 mo) of London Middlesex, Thomas's sister Caroline Bearda (68) of Marylebone, unmarried, and five servants.
