Acting Corporal Ernest Walter Arthur MILTON, a 22 year old Mechanic from Tamworth, New South Wales. He enlisted on 26 April 1916; and at the conclusion of the war Returned to Australia, 4 March 1919.

A very pretty wedding was celebrated at St. Paul's, Emmaville, on Wednesday, July 7, when Miss Viola O'Donnell, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs., M. J. O'Donnell, "The Bungalow," was married to Mr. Ernest Milton, only son of Mr. and Mrs. Milton, of Addison road, Manly. The bride, who was given away by her father, looked charming in a gown of French hand-worked crepe and georgette, and a bridal veil of tulle. Miss Zelma O'Donnell attended as bridesmaid, and wore white georgette, with hat to match. The wedding breakfast was held at "The Bungalow," which a large number of relations and friends attended. The presents were numerous, amongst which many cheques were included. Mr. and Mrs. Milton left by the limited express for Sydney. The bride travelled in a navy blue coat and skirt with hat en Suite." 1
