At the time of the 1901 England Census Charles F Stevens, aged 30, born in Shoreditch London, bank cashier, was with his widowed mother at 93 Carysfort Rd., Stoke Newington London.

At the time of the 1911 England Census Charles Frederick Stevens, aged 40, born in Shoreditch London, bank cashier, and wife of 9 years Elizabeth Marian, aged 39, born in Islington London (mother of 2 children), were living in Haslemere Orleans Road Upper Norwood Croydon Surrey. With them were children Marian (8) of Islington and Richard Kelsey (3) of Wood Green Middlesex.

In June 1934 Charles Frederick Stevens, bank manager, was granted Administration of the effects of his late sister Florence Stevens of Stoke Newington, spinster.

In the 1939 Register Charles F Stevens (b. 5 Jun 1870), retired bank manager, and wife Elizabeth M Stevens (b. 24 Sep 1871), unpaid domestic duties, were living at 1 Robson Road, Worthing, Sussex. At the same address was [daughter] Marian Stevens (b. 2 Jun 1902), single, school mistress.
