  Marriage Notes:

"STEWART - EDWARDS.

On December 23rd, a very pretty wedding took place at the Great Northern Hotel, Dalrymple, when Miss Nellie Edwards, eldest daughter of Mr and Mrs J. Edwards, of Charters Towers, was united in the holy bonds of matrimony with Aldborough Wilton Stewart, second son of Mr D. J. Stewart, Brisbane. The bride, who was given away by her uncle Mr J. Llewellyn Jones, looked very charming in a figured collenne? frock, prettily trimmed with shadow lace and embelllished with orange blossoms. Her sister, Miss Alma Edwards, was bridesmaid, in a smart white embroidered voile, trimmed with inserton and lace. Mr R. F. Edwards was best man. The Rev. Mr Hudson was the officiating clergyman. After the ceremony the guests sat down to a most sumptuous wedding breakfast, where the usual toasts were honoured. A very enjoyable musical evening followed. The wedding presents were numerous and useful. Mr and Mrs Stewart left the next morning for Charters Towers en route for their home at Mount Fox. " 5
