The death occurred early yesterday morning at the home of his sister in-law, Mrs. H. C. Alexander, of Mr F. A. Narracott, who has been well known in the city for many years as a printer's traveller. The late Mr. Narracott was about 75 years of age. He was actively associated with cricket in the early days of Brisbane, and was subsequently a well-known umpire. At the time of his death he was senior trustee of the West End Methodist Church, and a vice-president of the choir. For the past 30 years he was printer's traveller for Country Press Printery, Robert McGregor and Co. and W. H. Wendt and Co. He married Miss Stewart, daughter of the late Mr. D. Stewart, of George-street. His wife predeceased him some 40 years ago. He leaves a son, Mr. A. S Narracott, who is shire clerk of Quilpie. Tlie late gentleman was a brother-in-law of Mr. R. C. Gentle, of the Commonwealth Works Department, Brisbane, and of Mr. A. S. Walters, of the Brisbane Gas Company. 5
