" MANSFIELD.—February 4, at her residence, 273, Crown-road, Ultimo, Julia, relict of the late S. W. Mansfield, and second daughter of the late Robert Green, of Rock Farm, Parramatta, aged 49 years."

Will of Julia Mansfield, written 3 Feb 1882, probate 3 Mar 1882.

This is the last Will and Testament of me Julia Mansfield Widow of 273 Crown Road Ultimo Sydney in the Colony of New South Wales. After the payment of all my just debts funeral and other expenses I give devise and bequeath unto Mary Ryan my faithful domestic servant the sum of Forty pounds sterling (£40). I leave the sum of Ten pounds (£10) to be placed in the Bank to defray the funeral expenses of my son Frederick Drew he to receive the interest only. Also Ten pounds (£10) to be placed in the Bank at compound interest for Francis Arthur Knight The principal and interest to be received by him on his attaining to the age of Twenty one years and should he die before attaining to that age the money at his death to be given to his mother. Also Ten pounds (£10) for erecting a Tablet in my memory in St. Barnabas' Church Sydney. I desire Mary Ryan aforesaid to receive furniture sufficient for a bed room and parlour and my sisters to take what they please of the remainder of the furniture in remembrance of me and the remainder to be sold. Also that George Mansfield shall receive his father's watch chain and two pictures namely of his father and mother. Also that Edward W. Allingham shall receive my late husband's mourning ring and Dressing Case. Also that Miss Silvina Green shall receive the rings I am now wearing and my ear rings and brooches. And I hereby appoint the Rev Joseph Barnier and Christopher Anderson Executors of this my Will. In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand this third day of February in the year of our Lord One thousand Eight hundred and Eighty Two (1882). Signed Julia Mansfield.
Signed by the said Julia Mansfield the Testatrix and by her declared to be her last Will and Testament in the presence of us ... who ... have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses Henry Macready & Marano M.D.
3rd March 1882. By Act of Court Probate of the last Will and Testament of Julia Mansfield late of Ultimo New South Wales Widow deceased was granted to The Reverend Joseph Barnier and Christopher Anderson Executors. Testator died 4th February 1882. Goods sworn under £120. 10
