"MACKENZIE—McKAY The wedding took place last night of Miss Nerida Jean McKay, youngest daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. J. H. McKay, of The Overflow, Warren, N.S.W., to Mr. Colin Kenneth Munro Mackenzie, of Carandotta, Western Queensland, only son of the late Mr. K. Mackenzie, of Bundanoon, Nowra, N.S.W., and of Mrs. A. E. Mackenzie, of Rose Bay. The ceremony was performed at St. Mary's Cathedral by Rev. Father Ferrari.
The bride's gown was of parchment satin, with a quilted bodice and full skirt. She added a shoulder-length veil of cut tulle, held with a coronet of orange blossom, and her bouquet was of parchment-tinted gladioli. Miss Winsome Way was bridesmaid, wearing a water-lily green net frock and a tiny doll's hat trimmed with flowers, matching those in her bouquet.
The bridegroom was attended by Mr. Richard May.
The reception was held at Elizabeth Bay House.
The bride and bridegroom will make their home at Carandotta, Western Queensland. 7
