At the time of the 1911 Census Florence Annie Humphrey, age 28, born in Etchingham Sussex (mother of 2 children), and husband of 3 years Walter Richard Humphrey, age 40, born in Rotherfield Sussex, were living at 1 Providence Cottages Corseley Road Groombridge Sussex. With them were daughters: Edith Dorothy (2) and Lilian Rowena (10 months).
In the 1939 Register Florence A Humphrey (b. 13 Feb 1883), domestic duties, and husband Walter R Humphrey (b. 10 Jul 1880), gardener, were living at 7 Providence Cottages Corseley Road, Groombridge, Sussex.
