4 England & Wales, National Probate Calendar (Index of Wills and Administrations), 1858-1966..., p. 205. David Thomson Edwards of Gamallt Abergynolwyn Merioneth died 8 January 1962 and was buried three days later in Talyllyn, aged 90 years, and so born c. 1872. Thomas's elder brother David Edwards was christened 7 Mar 1871 in Talyllyn. While David seems likely to have been Thomas's brother, David's baptismal record does not show the second name Thomson, though this may simply have been an adopted name in acknowledgement of being the son of Thomas.
