Abstract of the Will of Evan Anwyl of Llugwy in the County of Merioneth, Gentleman, written 20 Jun 1807, proved 5 Aug 1817.

Gives & devises to his wife Margaret all his messuages, tenements and lands called Tynewidd in the parish of Pennal for the term of her natural life.

Gives & devises to his daughter Anna Maria wife of William Hughes Gentleman his lately erected messuage or dwelling house with the garden and stable situated near a street called Pentrerallt in the town of Machynlleth in county Montgomery, currently in the tenure of Jane Vaughan and Anne Vaughan, spinsters, and Hugh Williams, timber merchant.

After the deaths of his wife and daughter Anna Maria he gives & devises the same to his son Jonathan Anwyl and his heirs.

Leaves & bequeaths to his wife one moiety or half-part of his household furniture, plate, china and linen, and 5 guineas to buy mourning.

Leaves & bequeaths £100 to his said daughter.

Leaves & bequeaths 5 guineas each to his son-in-law William Hughes & Anna to buy mourning.

Leaves & bequeaths £50 to his brother Maurice Anwyl, Clerk, and Ann his wife, share and share alike, leaving and bequeathing another £50 to their children, to be equally divided between them, in addition to what he owes them from the will of his late sister Mary.

Leaves & bequeaths the rest & residue of his personal estate to his said son [Jonathan].

Nominates, constitutes & appoints his wife sole executrix of his last will and testament.
