Abstract of the Will of Robert Morgan of Plâs Canol in the County of Merioneth, Gent., written 14 May 1729, proved 10 Jul 1729.

Refers to an Indenture tripartite dated 7 Apr 1726 between himself of the first part, Robert Wynn of Pennarth in county Merioneth, clerk, of the second part, and William Wynne of Maes y neyodd in county Merioneth Esqr and Robert Jones of Dolegelley in county Merioneth Gent of the third part, in which a power is invested in him to charge all his messuages, tenements and lands called Plâs Canol als. Tythyn Nant and the water corn grist mill called Melin Plâs Canol and all the other messuages, cottages, lands, tenements and hereditaments known as Tay newydd tn ucha alias tn 'r poptu y ffreeth, Dawr alias y ffreeth uchel Trythyn, Cae lewedhio, Maes herdretr, Clochydd yr ardd hir y Llyfer tan tur poptu y Dryll, Crath Pella, Caer Moilie y Dryll crach nessa ir tn, Dryll y Meidw, Caer wern, Gweirglodd Howell y Bettinge and Gweir---dd, situated in the parish of Llanaber in the said county of Merioneth, such that on the day of the decease of his wife Ann, a sum not exceeding £200 be preferred to his younger child or children born of his wife Ann.

Gives, devises & bequeaths all his messuages, mill, lands, tenements, hereditaments and premises abovementioned to Robert Wynne of Llanbeder in the said county, Clerk (his father-in-law), Maurice Lewis of Rhiw in county Carnarvon Gent. and Thomas Lewis of Denbigh in county Denbigh Gent. after the decease of his wife Ann in Trust, such that out of the rents, issues and profits of the said premises they raise and levy the sum of £200 to the benefit of his younger child or children as said.

Item. Gives & devises all his messuages, tenements and lands called Garddaniel in the parish of Llanaber to his wife Ann until his eldest son and heir Robert Morgan attains the age of twenty-one years. And after he turns 21, he gives & devises to him a moiety or half part of the said premises called Garddaniel for the term of his natural life. And after the death of his wife Ann he gives, devises & bequeaths the other moiety or half part to his said son Robert Morgan.

Item. Gives & devises to Richard Vaughan of Cors y Gedol in county Merioneth Esqr and William Vaughan of Cors y Gedol Esqr all his messuages and tenements with the barn, stable buildings, garden, orchard and several parcels of land, arable meadow and pasture, being about 20 acres, situated in Boughton Aluph and Kennington in county Kent, as well as the cut or mow of one acre of land situated in a meadow called Broad Mead in Kinghill and Willesborough in county Kent, all of which said premises were lately purchased by his uncle John Morgan late of Lydd in county Kent Gent deceased. He directs that the said Richard Vaughan and William Vaughan will sell the aforementioned premises and from the proceeds shall pay all his debts, with the remainder going to his son Robert Morgan.

Nominates, constitutes and appoints his wife Anne sole executrix of his last will and testament, giving and bequeathing to her the rest & residue of his goods, chattels & personal estate.
