In 1871 Jane Evans (38) of Dolgelley Merioneth and husband David Evans (53) of Pwllheli Carnarvon, timber merchant employing 2 labourers not living in the house, were in Penlan St., Denio, Carnarvon. Present was daughter Jane Anwyl Evans (12) of Pwllheli, scholar
