  Research Notes:

In her father's Will (written 1641), Elizabeth is called the wife of John Evans. However, David Lloyd, Gent., is also shown as William Lewis Anwill's son-in-law. J. E. Griffith and other sources show Elizabeth as the wife of David Lloyd of Croesnonen in county Denbigh. David Lloyd's children Jane and Dorothy are called daughters of David Lloyd and Elizabeth Anwyll in the Parish register for Eglwysbach (co. Denbigh). 3 In his Will (written 1648), David Lloyd of Croesnonen names among others Robert Anwyl of Parc and Richard Anwyl of Parc (Elizabeth's brothers) as overseers of his said Will, calling them kinsmen and brethren. One can only speculate that the name of the daughter who married John Evans was perhaps incorrectly recorded.
