Writing his Will in Dec 1833 George Roods of Hastings, gentleman, named his sister Ann Roods as a beneficiary.

At the time of the 1871 England Census Ann Roods, age 60, born in Westham, unmarried, was with her brother Henry C Roods, age 65, born in Westham, unmarried, M Doctor, in Handcomb Street Westham Sussex.

At the time of the 1881 England Census Ann Roods, age 70, born in Heckstead, Sussex, lady, was living with her brother Henry Crowhurst Roods, age 76, born in Westham, unmarried, M.D. St. Andrews M.R.C.S., out of practice, in Gentleman's House, Handcomb, Westham.
