In 1901 Henry J. Chandler, aged 29, born in Devizes Wilts, bank cashier, was with his aprents 46 Devizes Rd., Swindon.
In April 1907 Henry John Chandler was present at the marriage of his sister Beatrice Lucy Chandler to Francis Budd Rivers in Southwark Surrey.
In 1911 Henry John Chandler, aged 39, born in Devizes Wilts, bank manager (Joint Stock Bank), single, was in Bank House, Melksham Within, Wilts.
In the 1939 Register, Henry J Chandler (b. 14 Jul 1871), retired bank manager, mix[ed] temporary clerical work, and wife Cicely Chandler (b. 20 Jan 1888), unpaid domestic duties, were living in Toads Alley,South Lane,Buriton, Clanfield, Hampshire. At the same address was [daughter] Christine M Chandler (b. 5 May 1923), at school.
In August 1942 Henry John Chandler, retired bank manager, and his sister Beatrice Lucy Rivers, widow, were granted Administration of the personal effects of their late sister Dorothy Kate Chandler, spinster.

WIDOW IS FOUND DEAD
Mrs. Cecily Chandler was found dead in the bedroom of her home, 20, Woodbury Avenue, Petersfield, yesterday. She was 71.
The District Coroner is being informed.
In February Mrs. Chandler found her husband, Mr. Henry John Chandler (84), a former manager of Petersfield's branch of Lloyds Bank, dead in the bathroom of their house. The Coroner was informed then but there was no inquest.
