At the time of the 1851 England Census Caroline Bendell, aged 16, born in Portsea Hants, was with her parents at 3 Albert St., Portsea Hant.

At the time of the 1861 England Census Caroline Kimber, aged 24, born in Portsea Hants, and husband William Kimber, aged 24, born in Portsea, labourer, were living at 9 Seymour St, Portsea. With them were children (born in Portsea): William (4) and Caroline (1).

At the time of the 1871 England Census Caroline Kimber, aged 34, born in Portsea Hants, and husband William Kimber, aged 33, born in Kingston Hants, bricklayer's labourer, were living at 7 Buckland St, Portsea.
