In 1895 Sarah Elizabeth Cole was a witness at the marriage of her brother Henry William Cole to Mabel Frances Hale in Battersea Surrey.

In 1901 Sarah E. Coppin, aged 26, born in Burbage Wilts, and husband William Coppin, aged 26, born in Shirley Croydon, domestic gardener, were living in Pays Cottages, Spring Pt. Rd., Croydon Surrey. With them was son William L. (7 mo.) of Shirley Croydon; Sarah's mother Alice Cole (58) of Chalderton Wilts, married, was visiting.

In 1911 Sarah Elizabeth Coppin, aged 36, born in Burbage Wilts (mother of 2 children) and husband of 11 years William Coppin, aged 36, born in Shirley Surrey, private gardener (domestic), were living in The Gardens, Windmill House, Shirley, Surrey.
