THE HAND OF DEATH.—The death occurred rather suddenly on Saturday last, of Mrs. Ann Symes, of Newtown. The deceased lady had been practically an invalid for some years. The funeral took place on Wednesday at the Parish Church, the Rector (the Rev. N. H. Stubbs) officiating. The principal mourners were: Mr. Sidney Symes (husband), Messrs. Robert, William, Victor Symes (sons), Emmie and Ethel (daughters-in-law), Mrs. T. Goddard (sister-in-law), Mrs. R. Garner and Mrs. J. Edmintls (cousins).... The deceased lady was 68 years of age.
