1 Dec 1433, Westminster

On 30 November, 1 Hen. VI [1422], by letters patent the custody of the manor of Igham by Wynchelse, co. Sussex, in the king's hands by reason of the death of Alan Faukeswell, esquire, who held for life by grant of Henry IV, was granted to Robert Oxenbregge on certain surety for fifteen years, from Michaelmas last, he rendering years 16s. 8d. which he rendered as farmer, and 3s. 4d. of increment. But afterwards at the suit of Margery late the wife of the said Robert and of Robert his son, executors of his will, it has been shewn that, although he was in possession until his death, his said executors have been put out by colour of letters patent dated 12 December 10 Henry VI [1431], granting the keeping of the manor to John Hexham and George Trome, which letters patent, it was prayed, might be annulled....
