----------------------------------

"We regret to chronicle the death of Mrs. A. Talbot the beloved daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Tobias Hosking of Treeve Lane who passed away on Thursday last after a short illness at the early age of 26 years. The funeral took place at St. Gwithian on Sunday morning amid every mark of respect from the inhabitants of Connor Downs and district. The hymns "Thee we adore Eternal name" and "Jesus lover of my soul" were feelingly sung en route to the Churchyard. The cortege was met at the church gate by the Rev. A. M. Baines, who officiated. The coffin was of pitch pine covered with white cloth with which nickel furniture. The breastplate bore the following inscription: 'Rosenia Annie Talbot, died July 6th, 1905, aged 26 years.'
