At the time of the 1851 England Census Catharine Potter, aged 13, born in Warbleton Sussex, scholar, was with her widowed mother in Rushlake, Warbleton Sussex.

At the time of the 1861 England Census Catherine Jane Gibb, aged 22, born in Warbleton Sussex, and husband David William Gibb, aged 26, born in Wadhurst Sussex, wheelwright, were living at 2 Hardinge Rd., Ashford Kent. With them were children (born in Arlington Sussex): Henry Thomas (2) and Catherine Maria (5 mo).

At the time of the 1871 England Census Catherine J Gibb, aged 33, born in Warbleton Sussex, and husband David W Gibb, aged 36, born in Wadhurst Sussex, wheelwright, were living in Bestbeech Hill, Wadhurst.
