"WEDDING.—At St. Helena's Church on Saturday, the wedding took place of Mr. Joseph Terence Dawson, son of Mr. and Mrs. A. E. Dawson, Oldfield Lane, Leverton, and Miss Amelia Clarke, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Clarke, of Belfast, Northern Ireland. Both bride and bridegroom are in the employ of Mr. Bowser, Leverton. The bride was attired in white satin voile with a headdress of orange blossom, and carried red tulips and narcissi. The bridesmaid, Miss R. A. Dawson, wore a dress of pink satin and carried yellow tulips. The best man was Mr. Sydney Dawson, and the bride was given away by Mr. Wilfred Dawson. The reception was held at Oldfield Lane. After the ceremony the bride was presented with a wooden spoon by Neville Peter Skinner, nephew of the 'groom, and a silver horseshoe by Elizabeth Ann Dawson, niece of the 'groom. The bride was wearing a going away dress of green and white silk, with white coat and accessories, with hat and shoes to tone, left for her honeymoon, which is being spent at an unstated destination. The future residence is Oldfield Lane, Leverton. The Rev. J. G. Pryce-Watts officiated, and Mrs. Pryce-Watts was organist."
