Abstract of the Will of William Evan of Maes y garnedd in the Parish of Llanbedr in the County of Merioneth, farmer, written 7 Jul 1823, inventory taken 17 Jun 1824, proved 28 Sep 1824, probate granted 11 Jun 1825.

Gives & bequeaths £1 to his granddaughter Lowry (child of his eldest son Evan William).

Gives & bequeaths £1 to another granddaughter Lowry (child of Robert Jones of Pen'r âllt).

Gives & bequeaths £1 to another granddaughter Lowry (child of William Lewis of Tyn y pwll Llanenddwyn).

Gives & bequeaths £1 to another granddaughter Lowry (child of John Hugh of Tythyn-y-sais Trawsfynydd).

Gives & bequeaths £5 to his grandson William (child of of Robert William and his late daughter Janet deceased), to be paid to him by his executors once he attains the age of 21 years.

Gives & bequeaths £20 to his daughter Mary now wife of Robert Jones who both live with him in Maes y garnedd.

All the rest & residue of his personal estate he gives & bequeaths equally among his wife Lowry and his son Rees William, whom he appoints & constitutes co-executors of his last will and testament.
