Abstract of the Will of Sampson Stace of Heathfield in the County of Sussex, Husbandman, written 9 Nov 1700, proved 8 Feb 1701. 4

Gives 5 shillings to his daughter Catherine.

Gives 5 shillings each to the six children of his said daughter Catherine now wife of Thomas West.

Gives 2 shillings sixpence each to the two children of his daughter Sarah who was the wife of Henry Willard.

Gives to his kinswoman Frances Mackley the dwelling in his house during her widowhood. He also gives her milk of one cow for five years so long as she remains a widow and looks after the house, garden, orchard and field.

Gives to his son William Stace his house, garden, orchard and field, and all the rest of his goods, making him executor of his last will and testament.
