Named as a beneficiary in the Will of his paternal uncle William Price of Corsygarnedd, farmer (1845)

In 1851 Richard Price (46) of Llanfachreth, unmarried, quarryman (sawyer) was with his brother Edward and his family in Caeswyn Merioneth.

In 1861 Richard Price (57) of Llanfachreth, farmer of 32 acres, and wife Anne (34) of Llanfachreth, were living in Friog, Nannau Is Afon, Llanfachreth. Present were children (born in Llanfachreth): Rice (4), Evan (2), Margaret (1)
