AT the time of the 1911 England Census Walter Edmonds, age 20, born in Hellingly Sussex, single, draper's assistant, was at 111 Ebury Street, St. George Hanover Square, Middlesex.

In Jul 1912 Walter Reginald Edmonds was present at the marriage of his brother Albert Victor Edmonds to Elizabeth Rose Gunning in Calne Wiltshire.

In Apr 1921 W R Edmonds was present at the marriage of his brother Thomas Martin Edmonds to Dorothy Emily Lilian Cockram in Littlehampton Sussex.

THE LATE MR. W. R. EDMONDS.

FUNERAL AT HELLINGLY.

A member of a well-known East Sussex family, Mr. Walter Reginald (Dick) Edmonds, of 30, Belle Vue-gardens, Clapham, London, passed away on Wednesday last week, following an operation.

Mr. Edmonds, who was 41 years of age and a bachelor, carried on the business of a knitted goods manufacturer at Hanover-square, London. He was the youngest son of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Edmonds, who were formerly at Globe Farm, Hellingly, for a number of years, and sister [sic] of Mrs. Cooper, of Holly Lodge. Mr. Edmonds was born at Hellingly, where he spent his younger days.

The funeral took place at noon on Saturday at Hellingly, and was attended by a large number of friends from London. The service was conducted by the Vicar (the Rev. G. Busck), the first part being held at the Parish Church. Mr. T. Stroud, A.C.P., was at the organ. The interment was at the cemetery.

The mourners included Mr. George Edmonds, Mr. Wilfred Edmonds and Mr. Martin Edmonds (brothers), Mr. and Mrs. Bert Edmonds, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Edmonds, and Mr. and Mrs. Harry Edmonds (brothers and sisters-in-law), Mrs. Cooper, Mrs. Browne and Miss Edmonds (sisters), Miss Inge, Miss Lottie Inge, Mr. Walter Inge, Mr. Greenwood, Mr. and Mrs. M. C. Pyke, Mr. and Mrs. Norgate, Mr. H. Cheeseman, Mr. Gilbert, Mr. G. Bond, Mrs. F. Roberts, Mr. L. Roberts, Mr. Felton, Mr. Philps, Mr. Cooper, Mr. J. Havercroft and Mr. Havercroft, jun. (Paris), Mr. T. Stroud and Miss Smith....
