In Dec 1860 Phillia Carey was present at the marriage of her brother Edward Carey to Sophis Insley in Birmingham Warwickshire.

At the time of the 1871 England Census Philadelphia Fish, age 27, born in Malling Sussex, and husband John Fish, age 34, born in Durham, Durham, general labourer, were living at 48 Newhaven St., Brighton St. Peter. With them were children: Jane (7) of Limpfield Surrey, scholar, George (5) of Newhaven Sussex, scholar, and Elizabeth (2 months) of Brighton.

At the time of the 1881 England Census Philadelphia Fish, age 37, born in Malling Sussex, and husband John Fish, age 44, born in Durham, labourer, were living at 70 Washington St., Brighton St. Peter. Present were children: George (15) of Newhaven, carpenter, and Eva (3) of Brighton, scholar.

At the time of the 1891 England Census Philadelphia Fish, age 49, born in South Malling Sussex, and husband John Fish, age 53, born in Durham, general labourer, were living at 34 Wichelo Place, Brighton Sussex. With them were daughters (born in Brighton): Eva (18), domestic servant, Olive (10), scholar, and Philadelphia's mother Elizabeth Carey (80) of Dublin Ireland [sic], widow, living on own means.

In Apr 1893 Philadelphia Fish was present at the marriage of her daughter Eva Agnes Fish to Albert Edward Scarratt in Brighton St. Peter.

At the time of the 1901 England Census Phyllis Fish, age 59, born in Lewes Sussex, and husband John Fish, age 63, born in Durham, navvy, were living in Whichelo Place, Brighton Sussex. With them was daughter Olive (19) of Brighton.

At the time of the 1911 England Census Philass Fish, age 69, born in Ringmer Sussex (mother of 8 children, 6 deceased), and husband of 48 years John Fish, age 73, born in NK (Northumberland), general labourer (old age pensioner), were living at 34 Whichelo Place Brighton Sussex.
