In 1851 Thomas Price (30) of Llanfachreth, farmer of 200 acres (1 serv.) and wife Elizabeth (29) of Merionethshire, were living in Brynmawr ucha, Dyffrydan, Dolgelley. Present were children William & Jane (10 mo.), twins born in Dolgelley.
In 1861 Thomas Price (41) of Llanfachreth, farmer of 21 acres, widower, was living in Maes yr eglwys wen in Nanau Is Afon, Llanfachreth. Present were children (born in Dolgelley): William (10), David (9), Jane (10). Brother-in-law Meredith Roberts, widower, and his family, were living nextdoor.
